We are looking for an experienced AWS Network Architect to join our team and report directly to the CTO. The successful candidate will have a strong background in AWS networking and will be responsible for understanding our existing multi-account and multi-region infrastructure. You will work closely with our development teams to continue the expansion and optimization of our network environment, providing expert support and guidance as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Quickly understand and become familiar with the current AWS network infrastructure, which includes multi-account and multi-region deployments.
• Support ongoing development and expansion efforts, ensuring seamless integration with existing network architecture.
• Utilize AWS network components such as AWS Transit Gateway, site-to-site VPNs, Aurora Global Databases, OpenSearch Clusters, MongoDB Atlas, AWS Endpoints, and Endpoint services to enhance our infrastructure.
• Assist developers with network-related challenges, providing fast and effective solutions.
• Maintain and improve network automation using Terraform and GitHub Actions.
• Ensure that network architecture follows best practices for security, scalability, and performance.
• Work with AWS Organizations to manage multi-account setups, policies, and best practices.
• Document any changes or expansions in the network setup, maintaining transparency and operational readiness.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience with AWS network services, particularly in multi-account and multi-region environments.
• Expertise in managing infrastructure using Terraform and experience with AWS network components like AWS Transit Gateway, VPNs, and Aurora Global Databases.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools, especially GitHub Actions.
• Experience with AWS Organizations for managing multi-account structures and policies.
• Ability to understand and work with existing infrastructure, supporting ongoing development and expansion efforts.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to support developers quickly and efficiently.
• Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintaining and improving network setups.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• Experience in optimizing and securing AWS network environments.
• Familiarity with other automation or scripting tools.
